CONSULTANCY IN COMMERCIAL SPACES

Dependienta de tienda de ropa

Feng Shui in a local acquisition project,  starts from the correct choice of the location of the premises, whether it is on the street or in a shopping center.

If in a home we are looking for a calm and stable flow of energy, in a local a more intense flow is required, a difference of a few blocks or a bad choice within a shopping center transforms a potentially prosperous place or a sterile one. which can hardly be controlled with cures inside.

This information is based on the business objectives, four pillar information of the owner etc.

Commercial premises are one of the main areas of application of contemporary feng shui and many big brands already consider it a competitive advantage.

The first point to consider for the success of a commercial enterprise is undoubtedly the location. We have all heard of Yin and Yang: the Yin force is the force of the dark and hidden, the Yang force is the force of light and growth. A business must seek exposure to the Yang force in order to have any chance of success. Traffic, movement, natural light, exposure, a wide and visible entrance are all Yang characteristics that will favor the development of commerce. However, a certain balance must be maintained because when the Yang force is in excess, it inevitably begins to transform into Yin (the reverse is also true, which may explain why in some cities the most prosperous areas are located around a cemetery, such as the Recoleta neighborhood in Buenos Aires). When there is no location that provides the premises with sufficient Yang energy, it is possible to attract it through movement, color and a suitable location of the doors.

The second point is orientation and this is a complex point, which probably requires professional advice to apply it correctly. Feng shui considers five basic types of energy, called Wu Hsing or the Five Elements. These are Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood. The elements and the cardinal points are related in this way:

South: expresses the energy of Fire and is related to spirituality, philosophy and energy.
East and Southeast: the energy of Wood and is related to creativity, books, art and fashion.
West and Northwest: Metal energy and relates to finance, justice and security.
North: the energy of Water and is related to travel, transportation and liquids.
Southwest and Northeast: the energy of the Earth and is related to food, health and construction.

These assignments are not arbitrary, but are part of a strong system of correspondences that forms the theoretical basis of feng shui. They do not depend on whether we are in the northern or southern hemisphere (read the article  Feng Shui for the Southern Hemisphere  for more information).

Each location is a microcosm where all these forces are replicated on a small scale. This consideration allows drawing a map that shows how the energies of the Five Elements are distributed within the premises. From this map, the distribution of the equipment and the layout can be designed in order to obtain the maximum use of the energies corresponding to each area. For example, if it is a tourism company or a pub, which sells liquids, it is related to the Water element. A pub should preferably have its entrance in the north, alternatively in the west or northwest,  since the Metal element is akin to Water as well.

Color is another way to be in harmony with the Elements and their orientations. A facade facing South benefits from the color of Fire, which is red. North corresponds to blue or black to East and Southeast to green. The West and Northwest are related to white and the Southwest and Northeast to yellow or earthy colors.

One of the crucial points in any feng shui analysis is access: the door or entrance to the premises defines how the energy will enter. If access is wide and fluid, we have a good chance of prospering, if access is restricted or hindered, we will have problems. With the proper use of mirrors, lights and water fountains, it is possible to redirect energy so that it flows properly in the room.
